Responsibilities

Summary of the position: 

The Medical Assistant Float participates in the delivery of excellent family practice and pediatric care in an ambulatory clinic setting with an emphasis on the prevention of disease; preparation of the patient for examination and/or procedures; administers medications under direction of provider; performs in office lab procedures and phlebotomy on pediatric and adult patients; sterilizes instruments and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. This will include actively participating and supporting primary clinical teams with these efforts. This position is full-time and located in Las Vegas, NV supporting our 7 locations in Southern Nevada. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package with paid time off and paid holidays. Requirements of the position:

• High school diploma or general education equivalent (GED).
• Certification of completion of Medical Assistant program
• Current CPR or BLS certification. 
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
